About Maria
The key is to be in tune with people, care for others, be generous, HAVE A VISION AND LOVE WHAT YOU DO..... "It's not what you take but what you leave behind that counts." My decision to become a Massage Therapist was based on my life long role as a caregiver. Throughout my life I have always given to people; whether it be a family member or someone I just met. A friend told me that New York College for Wholistic Health, Education and Research in Syosset was having an open house. It was there that I was introduced to the art of massage therapy. My original plan had been to obtain a degree in acupuncture, but upon learning about the positive and healthful effects of massage therapy, I investigated further and became totally convinced that this was what I wanted to do. Since obtaining my associates degree in occupational studies in the year 2000 at the age of 50, my enthusiasm for the art continues to grow and I am gratified daily as I see the effects of my work upon my clients. Maria and Capt. Bill, married over 32 years, have a combined family of six children, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren and have been Residents of Freeport for seventeen years.

"As the therapist, it is my job to educate, listen, empathize and improve my clients' body mind and spirit, in a therapeutic atmosphere. Relax, unwind, and escape through massage."
